Corn silage harvest is rapidly approaching. Some farmers are planning to cut silage next week. Plots at Arlington are currently between 70 and 75% whole-plant moisture.

A website has been created by Greg Johll (UWEX) for viewing data on corn silage drydown progress in Wisconsin. The data is derived from local county agent observations and measurements. The window for viewing drydown progress is: http://cf.uwex.edu/ces/ag/silagedrydown. Data can be summarized by individual counties, across counties and by production regions.
