Distance Diagnostics on the Web

A great way to stay abreast of developing crop problems in Wisconsin is the Distance
Diagnosis website. County agents troubleshoot fields, submit digital images and
describe field and plant symptoms. UW crop specialists diagnose problems and make
recommendations. The Distance Diagnosis website is a collaborative effort between
county agriculture agents, state specialists, and the electronic publishing unit
of the University of Wisconsin-Extension, Cooperative Extension.
The URL for the "Distance Diagnostics" website is
http://www.uwex.edu/ces/ag/distdiag/. This site is where the most recently
answered cases are shown, as well as a search the archives can be conducted for
past answers. Answers are saved in a database, and can be searched by topic, date,
submitter, or responder.
It is a great way to stay up-to-date with the growing season. Farmers in the north
especially benefit from this website because they usually get a preview of what's
coming from southern counterparts.
